The site, LearnVest, whose motto is, "strive to make our lives richer" even gives us some signs that should make us yield with caution and a few suggestion to help us slow it down.
- Do you spend a good amount of time worrying about your time? If so, try to take a mental break. What is that you ask?? Remove one thing from your schedule just for today ladies that is the least important. I agree with LV that putting off doing the laundry or not making that one work call could make all the difference in regaining your sense of mind.
- Have you not talked to your best friend in weeks? I'm awful for this one, before I know it a week has turned into weeks. - Are you sleep-deprived? According to LV the CDC recommends that adults get seven to nine hours of sleep each night. HUH?? They also claim to have proof that getting the rest you need improves our memory, boosts our ability to empathize with others, heightens our sex drive and increases our problem-solving skills two-fold. Hmmm .. seven to nine hours you say!! ;)
